About us
Coast Hospice is situated in the Mombasa Kenya and is the first of its kind in the region. The Hospice provides palliative care to patients with life limiting illnesses in Coast region. It is a registered charity which began operations in August 2001. We are situated behind the Coast General Hospital, next to the Medical training College in Mombasa.
SERVICES
We run an out patient clinic where referred patients are offered consultation, observation, medication, nursing care and counseling services.
Due to the life-limiting conditions some of our patients are admitted to hospital or patients are referred to our hospice while still admitted in various hospitals
When our patients get weak and are unable to attend to the hospice for continuation of care and support, our team visits them at home.
