Out Patient
We run an out patient clinic where referred patients are offered consultation, observation, medication, nursing care and counseling services. Our services are offered from Monday to Friday from 8.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. After hours, during weekends and public holidays, a nurse is on call to handle emergencies.
Hospital Visits
Due to the life-limiting conditions some of our patients are admitted to hospital or patients are referred to our hospice while still admitted in various hospitals. These patients are visited and provided with palliative care and support.
Home Visits
When our patients get weak and are unable to attend to the hospice for continuation of care and support, our team visits them at home. This ensures that the patients continue receiving the appropriate care and support to make their live comfortable
Day Care
We offer day care services every fortnight on a Thursday. This provides patients with an opportunity to meet, share experiences with other patients with similar conditions. They also engage with hospice friends and visitors. Through this initiative our patients are empowered and are able to support and encourage each other.
Bereavement Support
As part of passage of life, some of our patients succumb to life limiting illness/ condition, our Hospice team; then visits the bereaved family and offers grief and counseling support
Training
To ensure patients with life limiting illnesses are handled with care and provided comfort, we offer palliative care training to clinical officers, nurses, social workers, counselors, interns, volunteers, our staff, family and care-givers.
